Day 1
La Paz
Arrive, La Paz, & transfer to your hotel.
La Paz has a spectacular setting in a deep bowl surrounded by snow-capped mountains of the Altiplano. It lies in the shadow of the towering 6,438m high Mt. Illimani, always snow-covered and visible from many parts of the city. The city (from the main square) is 3,636 meters above sea level.

Day 2
La Paz - Tiwanaku Ruins, City Tour & Moon Valley
Tiwanaku is a 1½ hour drive from La Paz (72 km/45 miles), throughout which the highlands are passed and the Aymaran way of life can be seen. Tiwanaku dating back to 1580BC - 1200AC, was one of the most important pre-Inca civilizations and considered to be among the most developed at the time. The main constructions visited during this tour are: Kalasasaya temple and the Gate of the Sun constructed out of stone, Ponce and Fraile monoliths; the Akapana pyramid and the semi-underground temple.
This afternoon take a four hours city tour through La Paz, elected as one of the 7 wonder cities in the world. It is in a valley at the foothills of the Andes Range, situated at 3,632m / 11942 ft. above sea level. The tour goes through the street markets rich in handicrafts, weavings and witchcraft items, followed by a visit to the colonial section of the city, San Francisco Church, Gold Museum, Murillo Square also visit the viewpoint 'Mirador de Killi Killi'; and the outdoor replica of Tiwanaku temple. Then descending to the more modern, southern part of La Paz to reach and visit the Valley of the Moon, where a clay mountain has been impressively shaped by erosion.

Day 3
La PazUyuni
The trip from La Paz going southwest through the highlands in the bus to Oruro (3 ½ hours), train to Uyuni (6-7 hours), crossing a large portion of the highlands. Overnight in the hotel. (L)

Day 4
Uyuni Salt Flats (Full day)
Trip to Colchani, to see locals producing salt, enter this natural wonder of nature with over 10,000 km2, crossing to “Isla Incahuasi” (2 hours), a special habitat of volcanic rock and giant cactus. Then north to see Pucara de Ayque in the foothills of the Tunupa volcano. Return to Uyuni (2 hours),

Day 5
UyuniPotosi City
Bus trip crossing branches of the Andes Range with great landscapes, old mines and Indian villages to Potosi (4 hours).
In the afternoon visit of the colonial city, seeing the Mint House on Thursday or Colonial church and museum on Sunday, colonial churches and the local market

Day 6
Cerro Rico MinesSucre
Visit a mine to see remains of the silver production in the famous Silver Mountain.
Afternoon bus to Sucre (3 hours), nice colonial city, set in the lower valleys.

Day 7
Sucre City Tour
Sucre is the capital of Bolivia; this charming colonial city lies at the head of the valley at 2700 meters high.
It's a very interesting tour which includes the visit of Casa de la Libertad, where the Act of Independence of Bolivia was signed in 1825; Bolivar Park, to see examples of the aristocratic tradition in Sucre with small replicas of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc of Triumph of Paris; the church and museum of La Recoleta, and the Museum of Indian Textiles ASU
