ITINERARY

1-3
Nairobi National Park
Wildlife
Today marks the start of your once in a lifetime trip to the roaring safari parks of Kenya. This exciting trip begins with a flight to the bustling capital city of Nairobi. Taken from the Maasai phrase ‘EnkareNyrobi’, meaning "cool water", you will be greeted with stunning views, airside assistance, and guide. A 45-minute drive will take you to the spacious Ololo Safari Lodge in Nairobi National Park.

Blissfully located on the banks of the Mbagathi River, Ololo perfectly blends classic old Africa with modern, eclectic twists with individually decorated furnishings welcoming adults and honeymooners alike. And after all of that traveling, you can rest your weary head into dreamy beds, ready to spring into action the very next morning for some unique animal interaction!

Day 2 arrives with a bang. After a scrumptious breakfast, you’ll delight in the nature of Nairobi National Park. Your guided vehicle will stop en route to the outskirts of Nairobi, where you'll interact with hand-reared elephants at the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. This is a unique experience to get up close to these marvelous creatures before they get released back into the Kenyan wilderness. You’ll continue on with your journey, stopping off for a delightful lunch at the Tamambo Restaurant in the Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens. The afternoon welcomes you with a visit to the nearby Giraffe Centre, where you can capture the magic of these glorious animals. Enjoy memorable moments, taking delight in hand-feeding the smallest of these gentle giraffes alongside their adult counterparts, before heading back to the lodge for your own tasty dinner.

On day 3, you can revel in the adventure of both morning and afternoon game drives within the park where an exceptional African experience awaits. Get ready to regale in the newfound knowledge of the park’s biggest cats, from majestic lions to striking cheetahs. Not to mention the quirky characteristics of the rhinos and buffalo residing in their natural habitats! Take the time to enjoy the stunning landscape before heading back to your lodge.

After tucking into the hearty flavors of a home-style lunch on your private deck, you can partake in any of the additional cultural excursions on offer. Whether this is a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum or a separate visit to the elephant orphanage, where you can even adopt your very own baby elephant.

4-6
Maasai Mara
Wildlife
Today is the time to explore some of Kenya's most spectacular preserved savannah wilderness in the magical Maasai Mara, where you'll be staying at the Elephant Pepper Tented Camp for the next three nights. This spectacular conservancy is home to Leopard Gorge - famous for countless BBC 'Big Cat Diaries'. In the afternoon, you’ll immerse yourself in a thrilling game viewing drive, before returning to your lodge to take in the sunset with a refreshing local tipple, before feasting on a sumptuous dinner.

The following two days will be spent in a unique camp vehicle for more exciting game viewing. Stretching over hundreds of miles, the Maasai Mara is home to an eye-catching array of plants and mammals, from rhinos to wildebeest. If you’re really lucky, you may even spot the elusive leopard.

For more unique experiences, be sure to take a wander throughout Elephant Pepper Camp, as you enjoy the small things from animal tracks to micro-eco-systems. Embark on a Guided Safari Walk with local Maasai people where you can drink in the sights of the ecosystem enveloping you.

Take a moment to indulge in the culinary wonders of the alfresco ‘Bush Breakfast’, smack bang in the middle of the plains, surrounded by colorful wildlife. You can also choose to undertake a Cultural Visit, with the Maasai as your ever indulging hosts. Known for their beautiful beadwork, they come with a spear in hand and bright red colored “chukkas”.

7-9
Amboseli National Park

Shaded by swaying palms and acacia Tortilis, the lush green gardens are a dreamlike haven for tropical birdlife.

After lunch, your African adventure continues with an afternoon game drive. Sink into the seats of your open-sided game vehicle, specifically designed for comfort and photography. With extensive intimacy of their backyard, your guide will take you on a journey of wonderment, teaching you all about the family histories of the elephants they know and adore so well.

When the sun begins to set, make your way back to the lodge, where an awe-inspiring dining experience of cocktails awaits underneath the stars. Enjoy the sights, tastes, and smells, as you watch bonfire cinders waft into the indigo night.

On your last day at this stunning national park, you will head out on a final morning game drive as you are taken to some truly special spots in the wilderness. When you arrive back at the lodge, you’ll be treated to a full English breakfast and a blissfully chilled glass of Buck's Fizz. Sip and savor is the order of the morning, as you bask in the beauty of your natural surroundings.

Take the next few hours to rest and recuperate ahead of a gentle Guided Safari Walk. You might be lucky enough to spot hippos emerging from the waterholes and swamps, before tucking into a final dinner feast back at camp.
