Nairobi
City
Depart from London on your flight to Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, you'll be met airside by Swissport assistance and escorted through customs and immigration. Once through the terminal, you'll be warmly greeted by your guide for a transfer to the exclusive Karen Gables – a luxurious guest house in a historic private home. Surrounded by 1.5 acres of pristine gardens, this is a tranquil retreat in which to enjoy your first evening of African hospitality and recharge from the flight. 

After a delicious breakfast the following morning you have the opportunity to head out with your guide for a full day of exploring. Visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and Elephant Orphanage to learn more about, interact with and possibly adopt some of its animal residents. A drive through Nairobi City is a chance for your guide to unearth some of the city's secrets, while during a lunch stop, at the peaceful Tamambo restaurant in the Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens, you can sample some local cuisine. The afternoon excursion options include the fascinating Karen Blixen Museum and the nearby Giraffe Centre. Alternatively, you're more than welcome to make the most of the lush setting of the hotel and laze by the outdoor pool, relax in your private garden, or simply rest and recharge in your room ready for your safari to begin.

Amboseli National Park
Wildlife
The next morning, after breakfast, transfer to Nairobi Wilson airport for your short flight to Amboseli National Park airstrip. Your guide will meet you off the plane and take you on a short game drive en route to Amboseli Serena Lodge. This is your first chance to see wild African animals so keep your eyes peeled! The lodge is surrounded by an expansive and dramatic landscape with uninterrupted views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Built in a traditional Maasai style, the lodge's warm ambience will charm you as much as its stunning location. Enjoy some lunch and time to unwind on the palm shaded pool deck and expansive terraces before a late afternoon game drive. You have the chance to spot the "Big 5" as well as zebra, hyena, giraffes and many more – the list is endless! Reflect on your first day with a cocktail in hand by the outdoor fire pit before an indulgent dinner in the elegant Maasai - inspired restaurant.

The following day choose to enjoy a lie in or head out on an early morning game drive, after which breakfast will be served. There is the chance to view 'Echo of the Elephants' in the mid-afternoon, a wildlife documentary film about a family of elephants living in Amboseli. This film unravels the informative ecological and biological intrigues in the ever elusive elephants world. After lunch adventure on an afternoon game drive. As the sun is setting head back to the lodge and arrive at a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience. The evening begins with cocktails as the bonfire cinders waft into the indigo night. Dine by lantern light under a blanket of stars and taste safari life at its best. This will be a truly unforgettable evening, as the local Maasai share their traditional culture through song and dance whist coffee and dessert is being served.

A morning game drive after some tea will take you to some special spots in the wild, return to the lodge to enjoy a full English breakfast and glass of chilled Buck's Fizz. Sip and savour whilst surrounded by nature. After breakfast there is a chance to rest, and later enjoy lunch. A gentle evening drive takes you on another adventure. As night falls and you return to camp, you might be lucky enough to spot hippos emerging from the waterholes and swamps. A dinner awaits you back at camp after which your room calls for your last night in Amboseli National Park.

Tsavo National Park
Wildlife
Your guide will collect you after breakfast for a morning transfer to Tsavo West National Park. The majority of this drive is through Amboseli National Park and into the Tsavo National Park, spot a diverse range of wildlife along the way. Arrive at the tranquil Kilaguni Serena Lodge overlooking a natural waterhole that's frequented by many species of animals and birds. Enjoy lunch to views of elephants, buffalo and other plains game drinking and cooling off from the midday sun in the waterhole. During the afternoon take the chance to visit Mzima springs and view hippos and other aquatic life from under the surface in special underwater viewing tanks. Following this, visit the spectacular Shetani lava flows which spread for 50 square Kilometres across the savannah with plants living among the cinders. Dinner back at the lodge rounds up your adventurous day.

Enjoy a lie in or head out on a morning game drive, the choice is completely yours. A delicious lunch will be served at the lodge, after which there's plenty of time to relax on the sundeck or take a dip in the pool. The afternoon will feature a gentle evening game drive, arriving back at the lodge in time to sample an ice-cold cocktail from a fully stocked bar. As the sun dips below the horizon relax and take in the view, this is the perfect way to end another memory-making day in the African bush. As night falls, head indoors for dinner. 

Relax in your room or join an early morning game drive. If you want to experience your serene surroundings at a slower pace; why not unwind in a day bed at the stone bar and sip on an expertly mixed tropical tipple, all while contemplating the impressive views of the undulating Chyulu Hills that surround the lodge. An afternoon game drive will culminate back at the lodge with an evening nestled by the campfire, featuring sumptuous cocktails and views. After dinner amble back to your room for your final night in Kenya.

Nairobi
City
After breakfast, a short drive to the airstrip and internal flight will take you back to Nairobi where you will be met by a guide and transferred to the world-famous Carnivore restaurant for lunch. Transfer to Nairobi International airport after lunch for your flight home, taking with you memories that will stay in your heart forever.
