1-3
Nairobi National Park
Wildlife
This is the first day of what will be an incredible trip to the stunning African bush. There will be animals and scenic splendor galore, so you’ll waste no time in waving goodbye to your friends and family, as you board your flight to Nairobi. Once landed, you will receive airside assistance, before being met by your expert guide. You’ll then be transported to your gorgeous room at The Nairobi Tented Camp in Nairobi National Park for a comfortable night's sleep. 

Wake up to colorful and quirky furnishings before tucking into a scrumptious breakfast and then your day begins. You’ll hop on board your own private vehicle, where you’ll be taken to the scenic outskirts of Nairobi. A unique stop en route to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage will provide a chance to interact with hand-reared orphaned elephants before they get released back into the Kenyan wilderness.

Once you’ve reveled in the delights of these beautiful creatures, you’ll continue on to a wonderful lunch at the Tamambo Restaurant in the Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens. The Historic Swedo House at these fabulous gardens was the original hunting lodge and farmhouse and was built in the early 19th century. After this lavish lunch, you’ll head on to the nearby Giraffe Centre. where you'll be given the chance to hand-feed these beautiful creatures. Once you’ve taken in as much adorable animal action as you can, you’ll head back to camp.

On day 3, you can hop on to a morning and afternoon game drive within the park and discover the wilderness in an exhilarating way. Spot the majestic lions, breathtaking leopards striking cheetahs all residing within their own natural habitat.

Lake Naivasha

Day 4 is here, and with it comes more of Kenya's most spectacular natural wilderness for you to discover. After a sumptuous breakfast, you’ll be heading off to the most picturesque of places in Lake Naivasha. The name is derived from the local Maasai term “Nai'posha”, meaning "rough water", due to the sudden storms which can appear.

Your guide will transport you to the relaxing and comforting Loldia House, your beautiful residence for the next three nights. Along the way, you’ll dip a metaphorical toe into the shimmering waters of the lake itself, before a night game viewing drive, where bat-eared foxes, aardvarks, spring hares, and lazing, grazing hippos await. After this visual treat, you’ll journey back to the lodge for an appetizing dinner.

Waking up in the home comforts of your stunning abode, you’ll enjoy an early morning breakfast before setting off on a day trip to glistening Lake Nakuru. Your scenic drive takes you through the Rift Valley - a huge geological fault-line, stretching around one-sixth of the Earth’s circumference. Along its magnificent length are a mix of dormant and active volcanoes. And don’t forget about the abundance of rhino making themselves known. Fringed by striking papyrus and presented with the extinct Mount Longonot as a breathtaking backdrop, this is a wonderful place to watch and photograph birds. 

After a couple of hours of game viewing in a specially designed 4 wheel-drive Land Rover, you’ll have built up quite an appetite. Enter a deluxe picnic lunch in a shaded spot of seclusion of your choosing before returning to Loldia House for a decadent afternoon tea on the lush lawn, overlooking the fresh waters of Lake Naivasha.

On day 6, you’ll set off on foot for a walking tour around the impressive Crescent Island with your knowledgeable guide. Here, you can quite literally walk with the glorious animals! From giraffes, zebras, gazelle, and waterbuck, you’ll observe these fascinating creatures whilst really stretching your legs. You’ll stop off for another tasty picnic lunch before returning to the lodge for some much-needed rest and relaxation. The blissful surroundings of Loldia House are an ideal way to taste the pleasures of Kenyan country life and be at one with the animals. You may even get to experience the hippos munching quietly by the waterside.

In the late afternoon, you’ll embark on a Game and Bird viewing expedition by boat on Lake Naivasha. World-famous for its colorful flamingos, they can be seen here in their millions! Accompanied by an ornithologist, you will learn all about the 400 species of birds that have been spotted in the area. This boat journey will also offer fantastic bird viewing spots. Watch the Cormorants and colorful Kingfishers drying their wings, and marvel at the vivid sights of Pink Backed Pelicans, Herons, and Fish Eagles.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Fill up on a tasty breakfast as today you will be taken to your next accommodation; the Serena Sweetwaters Tented Camp. Located within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, you will be swept away by the astonishing natural sights of these surroundings. You’ll also get to meet some pretty unique neighbors, as the conservancy is home to the ‘Big Five’ - elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo, and leopard. 

En route, you will pass by the euphorbia woodlands of the 3,500-acre Kigio Wildlife Conservancy, and a hidden gem that is Lake Olbolosat. Continue on your drive through the Thomson’s Falls; a scenic waterfall on the Ewaso Ng'iro river, before arriving at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy just in time for a scrumptious lunch. In the late afternoon, the big cats await on an action-packed Lion Tracking expedition. You'll help the research efforts in the area by recording sightings of collared lions, and their telltale features of these, such as whisker spots and ear tears. After a day of new-found knowledge, you can sink into the solace of your lodge and reflect on your first day. 

Get ready to start your next day with the cheekiest of monkeys! This morning, you will be visiting the Jane Goodall Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Not only will you be able to learn about the day-to-day care of the chimpanzees but you can also gain exclusive access to feeding time. There are also various enrichment activities on offer and you can even adopt a chimp before indulging in a hearty lunch. Afterward, you'll be taken on a guided bush walk or riverine river bird walk. You’ll learn all about the game trails and spoor identification as well as the insects, birds and smaller mammals of Ol Pejeta. Once the sun begins its descent, you’ll make your way back to the lodge for a wholesome dinner.

9-10
Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

This morning you'll transfer to the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. The drive skirts along with the awe-inspiring beauty of Mount Kenya National Park, offering unparalleled views. Once you’ve arrived at the Lewa Wilderness Lodge, take the time to settle into the rustic furnishings of your blissful cottage, before tucking into a lunch like no other.

In the afternoon, it's all go as you mount one of the resort's magnificent horses for an idyllic ride. You’ll get up close to all sorts of animals, from gentle giraffes to brazen baboons. Dinner back at the camp rounds up your adventurous day in the wild.

On your last day in this dreamy resort, there are game-viewing opportunities aplenty. As one of the only game parks with the endangered black and white rhino, a safari at Lewa is truly a once in a lifetime venture. Take in the unforgettable view of Mount Kenya and the remarkable open plains and rolling hills as you drive along, for an unsurpassed safari adventure.

If you fancy activity of another kind, there are activities in abundance back at the lodge. From a tantalizing game on the tennis court to a dip in the refreshing pool, you can sink into the furnishings on the sundeck and gaze at the magnificent views.

Samburu National Reserve

Enjoy a healthy breakfast before whizzing off to your next and final accommodation in Samburu - the Saruni Samburu lodge, Check-in and unpack as you take a tour of eco-chic furnishings. And did we mention the spectacular views over Kenya’s Northern Frontier District? Innovation and Italian-inspired cuisine will provide the perfect home away from home.

As the sun continues to shine in the afternoon, you’ll soak in the impressive views all around, before embarking on a unique activity not permitted in the National Parks – a night drive with a starlit dinner under the vast African skies. This experience is an ideal way to explore Kenya’s iconic wilderness and is an adventure that you certainly won’t forget in a hurry. 

On day 12, you’ll spring into action with an early morning game drive along the Ewaso Niro River, where you may be lucky enough to spot elephants quenching their thirst at the watering hole. Lunch back at the lodge and an afternoon game drive tailored towards a magical birdwatching experience set the scene for what will be a relaxing evening nestled by the campfire as the sun begins to set. 

On your last day on these cultural lands, enjoy an inviting lie in or head out on a morning game drive before a deliciously authentic lunch served back at the camp. Now is the time to let go and enjoy a moment or two of pure serenity. Bask in the glow of the afternoon sun on your own private deck, or cool off in one of the two large infinity pools with unbeatable views.

Day 14 is here, and home is the final stop. After breakfast, you’ll be taken on a short drive to the airstrip and flown back to Nairobi. Here, you will be met by a guide and transferred to the world-famous Carnivore restaurant for lunch. Eat to your heart's content before a transfer to Nairobi International airport for your flight home. Look back on your adventurous time in the African wilderness, ready to regale your friends and family back home.
