Day one is here and you’ll be full of excitement, packing the last few essentials and getting ready to board your overnight flight to Beijing.

Once you’ve touched down on the Beijing runway, your private guide and driver will take you to your very own Executive Room at The Regent Hotel. The rest of the second day is yours to spend at your own leisure. Relax in the indoor pool of the hotel before heading out to indulge in some Chinese cuisine of the Wangfujing district. Check out the famous Da Dong Peking Duck restaurant for an authentic dining experience. And from then on, the adventure really begins!

In the morning, you’ll enjoy a private tour of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. An absolute must-see for all visitors to the exquisite city of Beijing, it is considered to be among the world's top 5 most important palaces of all time. Enjoy the afternoon at your own leisure with a visit to the ancient Hutong district, where you can walk by the Shichaihai and Houhai Lakes and stop for a cup of hot tea overlooking the spectacular lakes.

Continue your tour as you explore the peaceful Temple of Heaven and revel in the beauty of lakes, gardens, and palaces that encompass the stunning Summer Palace. Relax on the clear waters of Kunming Lake by taking a once in a lifetime boat trip before visiting the Great Wall at Juyongguan. Spend as much time as you wish, drinking in the majestic views of passes, rolling crenels, and exquisite stone carving.

Xi’an
City
You’ll wave goodbye to the ancient sights of Beijing and board your high speed 1st class train to Xi’an, the capital of Shaanxi Province in central China. You’ll then transfer to your apartment at the Sofitel Xian on Renmin Square by private car. Your apartment houses an array of fantastic family benefits, from a studio kitchen to babysitting services, leaving you free to roam the city as you see fit.
Day 7 will be a day to remember, as you learn about ancient Chinese history by embarking on a  morning tour of the Terracotta Army. Here, you will uncover a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. You can then grab a taxi ride to the bustling area of the Muslim Quarter.

The next morning, take a taxi to the ancient city walls to explore wonderful views, either by foot or by bike. After a hectic day of cultural investigating, you can relax in your luxury apartment. Once you’ve put the kids to bed, and courtesy of the hotel’s babysitting service, you can treat yourself to a Lost Plate food tour. Cruising past the ancient city walls on a famous three-wheeled tuktuk, you’ll indulge in local speciality food and drink.

9-11
Chengdu
General Tour
You’ll be privately transported to the station for your 1st class train ride to Chengdu. On arrival, check in to your Deluxe River View Room at the spectacular Shangri-La Chengdu where you can settle into your final abode. Relax in the pool or enjoy a workout in the gym. If you’re feeling particularly energetic, you can even take part in a game of tennis as the hotel looks after your every babysitting need.
Day 10 has arrived and you couldn’t be more excited, as this is the day where you get to delight in a morning tour of Chengdu Panda Base, home to the eye-catching and entertaining Giant Pandas. Located just 6 miles away from downtown, this research base was created to imitate the natural habitat of giant pandas in for the best possible rearing and breeding environment.
After your panda experience, engage in a relaxing afternoon with your guide as you take a slow walk in the luxuriant forests and bamboo groves of Wangjiang Park, stopping along the way at a traditional teahouse where you can watch the locals play a game of mahjong.

Day 11 means a private transfer back to Chengdu airport before jetting back home, eager to tell your friends and family all about your out of this world experience.
