Arrival at Leh

Day 01: On reaching Leh, enjoy your journey to the hotel. On arrival, complete your check-in formalities. Spend the rest of the day acclimatizing to the high altitude of Ladakh. In the evening, I amble through the local markets of Leh. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

excursion to Sham valley
After a scrumptious breakfast, get set for a scenic drive to Alchi. En route, visit interesting places like Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and Confluence of the Zanskar and Indus Rivers. Later, visit Alchi Monastery. After this, enjoy your drive to Leh and en route, visit Hall of Fame in Leh. On arriving at the hotel, enjoy a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Nubra Valley via Khardong-La
Early in the morning, head to Nubra Valley via the world's highest motorable road, (5602 meters) Khardung La Pass. On reaching Nubra, visit the white sand dunes of Hunder. Enjoy a camel ride (On Own) in the white sands amidst snow-capped mountains. Later, if time permits, visit Hunder and Diskit monasteries and check-in at the camp. Enjoy the evening at leisure and your overnight stay at the camp.

Nubra - Leh
In the morning, after breakfast, head towards Leh. Once again, enjoy your journey through Khardung La Pass. In the evening, explore the Leh bazaar. You can pick some interesting souvenirs here. Visit Jokhang Gonpa, a famous Buddhist monastery located close to the market. You can also visit Jama Masjid, one of the significant historical mosques in Ladakh. After a fun-filled day, enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

excursion to Pangong lake
After a delicious breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Pangong Lake on the Indo-China border. In the evening, head back to the hotel in Leh for a scrumptious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay

Tsomoriri lake
This day starts early as you journey towards Tso Moriri Lake (altitude: 14,836 feet). Enjoy the drive through Chumathang (hot springs), Mahe and the Puga-Sumdo Valley. Tso Moriri Lake (28 km long and about 8 km wide) is home to many migratory birds, including the rare bar-headed geese. After a fun-filled day, enjoy a scrumptious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay in the fixed camp or guest house.

Tsomoriri lake-Leh
After breakfast, get set to travel back to Leh. Journey through the Puga-Sumdo Valley and then follow the route through Polokongka Pass (4920 meters) to visit Tso Kar, a salt lake located in the Rupshu Plateau. After exploring the area, take the Manali-Leh road to return to Leh. Cross Taglang La (altitude: 17,480 feet) en route. Finally, enjoy a tasty dinner and a peaceful overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Departure from Leh
Your delightful tour ends today. Leave on time and head to Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport to board your flight for your onward journey.

Our camps in Nubra are in best locations and in Pangong, just by the lake. Meals can be served as you prefer (veg/non-veg)
