Day 1
Chennai-Kanchipuram-Pondicherry
Leave Chennai at 8 AM. Reach Kanchipuram at 11 AM. Distance - 80 km. Have darshan at Chitragupta Temple, Ekambeshwara Temple. Shopping, Kanchipuram is also a well-known center of the finest silk sarees made in the country. The evening has darshan at Kailasanatha Temple. Proceed to Pondicherry. Distance 102 km.
 
Day 2
Pondicherry-Chidambaram
Visit famous Aurobindo ashram & sightseeing. Proceed to Chidambaram Distance- 65 km. Have darshan at Nataraja Temple. Chidambaram is one of the foremost Saivite shrines; the very name Kovil refers to Chidambaram, where Natarajar is enshrined in the ChitSabha or the Hall of Consciousness. Have darshan at Sivakami Amman Temple.
 
Day 3 and Day 4
Chidambaram-Thanjavur
Reach Thanjavur Distance - 130 km. Enroute Visit Navagraha temple around Kumbakonam. Have darshan at Swamimalai, the fourth among the six padai veedu or sacred shrines dedicated to Lord Muruga.
 
Day 5
Thanjavur To Trichy
Proceed to Trichy (50 km) Have darshan at Rockford Temple, Jambukaeshwar Temple. Have darshan at Srirangam temple. This is the foremost of the 108 shrines glorified by the Alwars It is one of the greatest centers of the Sri Vaishnava religion and among the most visited pilgrimage centers in India.
 
Day 6
Trichy-Rameshwaram(200 km)-Visit Rameshwar Temple(Jyotirlinga)

Rameshwar-Madurai(160 km)
Visit The Meenakshi Sundareswarar temple (twin temples) is one of the biggest temples in India.

Madurai-Tuticorin(130 km)
Visit one or many of the following temples as per preference

* Navathirupathi - 9 Temples dedicated to Vishnu within a radius of 35 Kms.
 
Day 9
Tuticorin-Kanyakumari(130 km)
Reach Kanyakumari by afternoon. distance-130 km. Located in the Southernmost part of India, Kanyakumari is a place at the confluence of the Indian Ocean, the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian sea. Witness the setting sun and the rising moon simultaneously over three oceans. The Vivekananda Rock Memorial, built on a huge rock off the shore of Kanyakumari, marks the spot where Swami Vivekananda. Have darshan at Suchindram Temple and Kanya Devi Temple.
 
Day 10
Kanyakumari-Trivandrum
Early morning witness the sunrise and leave for Trivandrum Visit Padmanabha Swamy temple en route . Distance- 90 kms.
