UDAIPUR

When you want to see extraordinary places imbibed in a truly diverse deep-rooted culture, you go and see Rajasthan! ‘Padharo Mare Des’ – The locals really believe it which you can feel by their friendly and warm vibe. Getting a short break from your daily routine and immersing yourself into a completely different one is what you need.

 

 

Day 1-Delhi to Udaipur
We begin our journey towards the royal Rajasthan in the evening at 7:30 pm. We halt for a late-night dinner at a decent restaurant and then carry on with our journey during the night.

Day 2- Exploring Udaipur
By the time you open your eyes in the morning, we would have entered Rajasthan and reach our Udaipur hotel by 10 am. We check-in to our rooms and freshen up. Post lunch we head out to explore Udaipur and visit the royal City Palace. The explorers can even visit the Crystal Gallery of the Palace known as Crystal Palace.
Once we are done admiring the life of former Royal families of Udaipur we proceed towards Bagore ki Haveli which is right at the waterfront of Lake Pichola. With
over 100 rooms and display of costumes and modern art Bagore, ki Haveli is known for preserving the painting of Mewar and fine glasswork. In the evening we leave for the place famous for its picturesque surroundings and its boat ride, Lake Pichola.
A boat ride in the evening is sufficient to enthrall anybody. After a café stroll near the lake, we head towards our hotels where our comfortable beds are waiting for us to rest for the night.

Day 3-Explore the lakes
After breakfast, we again embark a journey to know the capital of the Rajputs of Mewar a bit closely. We head towards our first location of the day which is the Monsoon palace, overlooking the Fateh Sagar Lake this Place is a hilltop palatial residence in the city of Udaipur. The second location of the day would be Maharana Pratap memorial/mark which is dedicated to the gallant Maharana Pratap.
After covering these places we halt for lunch near the Fateh Sagar Lake. Freshen up, relax grab a bite and visit our last location, the Saheliyon ki Bari presenting a green treat in drylands of Rajasthan famous for its lush green lawns, marble art, and fountains. Saheliyon Bari or the Garden of Maids was built by the Maharana Sangram Singh for the Royal Ladies. Covering so much ground could be tiring for most of us, so we depart for the hotel and call it a day.

Day 4-Shopping spree
The last day in the gem of Dessert Udaipur is mostly dedicated to collecting souvenirs and gifts to take back to make the trip more memorable. Bada Bazar offers a plethora of roadside shops, exhibitions, showrooms displaying the unbelievably rich collection of Rajasthani items. A brilliant place for Jewellery shopping in Rajasthan and an ideal place for brightly colored traditional clothes for yourself and your loved ones.
We leave for Delhi early evening in order to reach Delhi on time the next day.
