ITINERARY

1-3
Kuala Lumpur
Capital City
The day of your Malaysian adventure is here at last – woohoo! Once you touch down in Kuala Lumpur you’ll be met by a guide and taken to your hotel to settle in. See the capital on a guided walking tour. You’ll start off with a dish of Nasi Lemak - a spicy coconut rice dish and traditional Malaysian breakfast - eaten in a 110-year-old residential area, before continuing on to a daily bustling market. After fuelling up on a bowl of Laksa (a coconut curry soup with noodles) you’ll explore the city’s impressive architecture with buildings dating back to the late 1800s. You’ll finish off in Chinatown where you’ll enjoy a bowl of Hokkien Mee (stir-fried noodle dish) and sip Chinese tea.

4-5
Taman Negara National Park
Wildlife
Today you’re off to the world’s oldest tropical rainforest in Taman Negara National Park! En route, you’ll enjoy a scenic three-hour river longboat ride before checking into your hotel and enjoying some lunch. Once you’ve settled in you’ll watch an informative slideshow before heading off on a night walk through the jungle. The next day you’ll hike along the nature trail to Teresek Hill for stunning views and an exciting canopy walkway. In the afternoon you’ll hop aboard a boat to Lata Berkoh, a series of rapids, where you can relax, observe the cascading waterfall and swim in the deep pool.

6-7
Cameron Highlands
Tour
After breakfast, you’ll take a boat and continue overland to Cameron Highlands – the largest tea plantation area in Malaysia. You'll spend your time here exploring the tea plantation by four-wheel drive, then transfer to the Mossy Forest where you'll wander through this spectacularly misty, overgrown rainforest and learn about the medicinal plants that grow here.

8-9
Temenggor Lake
Tour
Get ready for lakeside living as today you’re off to Temenggor Lake where you’ll board a boat in search of the Rafflesia – the biggest flower in the world! Afterward, you’ll make your way through the elephant's trail to reach the salt lake where animals hunt for minerals. Lunchtime involves a picnic next to a jungle waterfall and afterward, you’ll have time to swim in the freshwater. Before heading back to your hotel you’ll swing by an Orang Asli village to learn about local life.

10-14
Langkawi
Beach
Ready for some relaxation in paradise? Today you’re off to Langkawi – an archipelago of over 100 islands in the Andaman Sea off the north-western coast of Malaysia. The main island is studded with paddy fields and jungle-clad hills and surrounded by turquoise waters. Spend your days here as you please, relaxing on the beach, exploring the resort facilities or making the most of the epic diving opportunities nearby.

On Day 14 it’s time to leave Malaysia and head home with a happy heart and a head full of wonderful memories.
