ITINERARY

1-4
Kuala Lumpur
Capital city
Welcome to the friendly city of Kuala Lumpur where there’s plenty to offer your whole family. Get ready for the adventure to begin on day 3 when you head to the top of the Petronas Towers. These twin pinnacles are one of the world's tallest buildings and are connected by a glass walkway offering incredible views over the city. Back on firm ground, it’s your chance to see a staggering collection of marine life at the famous Kuala Lumpur Aquarium.

Delve deep into Malaysia’s culinary culture with a full day Kuala Lumpur food tour. Starting at a fresh market, watch as the vendors barter for the best price on produce; learn about the exotic herbs and spices on sale and soak up the atmosphere as Kuala Lumpur's residents go about their daily lives. Continue to a local family's home for a hands-on cooking class. Your chef will let you in on traditional techniques and recipes that blend Chinese, Indian and Malay cultures, which have been handed down through generations.

5
Cameron Highlands
General tour
This morning you'll transfer to the rolling hills of Cameron Highlands and spend the rest of the day at leisure. The cooler climes of this lush region will welcome you after the heat of Kuala Lumpur, and the views are simply spectacular.

6-7
Penang
History & Culture
This morning you'll be picked up by your friendly guide and transported by four-wheel-drive into the lush tea plantations that the Cameron Highlands are famous for. Enjoy panoramic views of the Highlands while enjoying a picnic and tea in true English style! Your guide will tell you all about the tea that's grown in the area, then it's on to the colorful city of George Town in Penang, Malaysia’s second-largest city where you'll settle into your hotel.

George Town is famed for its street art and its delicious Dim Sum and you’ll learn what all the fuss is about during a half-day tour. Sample more varieties than you can imagine, with flavors to suit the adventurous and also the most delicate of palates. Stock up on souvenirs at visiting a local market and take enjoy George Town's beautiful colonial buildings and famous street art.

8-13
Langkawi
Beach
On day 8 you'll enjoy a short, 25-minute flight to the stunning island paradise of Langkawi, taking in the incredible aerial scenery on the way – be sure you have your camera handy! For the grown-ups, there’s white sands, tropical palms, and clear waters and for the kids, well – there’s the same! Whether you want to sunbathe or build a sandcastle, Langkawi offers a safe, beautiful place to enjoy it.

Enjoy a boat trip to the Kilim Nature Park to experience an untouched mix of well-protected green mangrove forests, isolated white beaches, and blue lagoons. Cruise down the calm, winding river and keep your eyes peeled for some of the more unusual inhabitants of the park's marine ecosystem - Brown Eagles, Tree Crabs, Monitor Lizards, and Macaques. The rest of your time on Langkawi is free to spend how you wish, whether it’s relaxing with a book on the beautiful crescent-shaped sandy beach or experiencing on of the many attractions this stunning archipelago offers. We’d recommend a walk in the fresh breeze across the Langkawi Sky Bridge for exceptional views of mountains and waterfalls, or if you have little ones whose feet aren’t quite up to it, there’s a cable car that offers views that are just as spectacular.

On day 13 it’s time to head home and while you probably won’t want to leave, you’ll be doing so relaxed, happy and eager to visit this wonderful country again.
