Congratulations! You’ve tied the knot and now it’s time to celebrate by taking your first trip together as a married couple and were better than Singapore, with its mystical eastern romance and guaranteed warm weather.

Relax and enjoy the journey as you make your way to the cultural capital of Singapore. You’ll have the rest of your arrival day to take it easy and get used to the new time zone, then the following morning the adventure will truly begin.

Rise, shine and dine on a tasty breakfast at your hotel, then it’s time for a full-day tour of the city and the Gardens by the Bay. You'll see the best that remarkable Singapore has to offer as you drive through the Civic District, passing the Padang, Cricket Club and the architecturally splendid buildings of Parliament House, the Supreme Court and the historic City Hall. Heading towards the water, you will stop at Merlion Park to gaze out over Marina Bay. Capture views ranging from the spectacular to the quirky, with a chance to snap a unique photo opportunity standing next to the mythical half-lion, half-fish creature known as The Merlion – it’s certainly a talking point!

Continuing your discoveries, you will arrive at the bustling Chinatown area where old meets new and you can take your pick from traditional market stalls selling one-off finds to intriguing independent stores. Visit the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple & Museum with its rich displays of Buddhist history, and Little India where your senses will be attacked with color and fragrance. Your tour will culminate at the stunning Gardens by the Bay; a 101-hectare oasis of greenery set within the heart of Singapore where you can step inside the world’s largest glass greenhouse; the Flower Dome. Discover exotic plants from five different continents and walk amongst thousand-year-old olive trees and unusual Baobabs as you make your way towards the mysterious, mist-shrouded Cloud Forest, where breath-taking mountain views frame diverse vegetation and hidden flowers. Learn about rare plants, explore orchids, pitcher plants and ferns and gaze up in awe at the world's tallest indoor waterfall, which stands at an impressive 35 meters and descends through the mist on a Treetop Walk.

The best part is that your day isn’t over! You’ll be back at your hotel around 4 pm and will have a few hours to relax, refresh and get ready for dinner on the Singapore Flyer, where you will dine over breathtaking, panoramic views on Asia’s largest observation wheel. Catch a bird’s eye view of the whole of Singapore from your capsule and enjoy a 360˚ visual feast of the Singapore River, Raffles Place, Merlion Park, and Empress Place. Then turn your attention to the feast in front of you and indulge in a 4-course menu with an in-flight host, as you continue to marvel at the magnificent skyline views.

It’s day 3, and you'll have the whole day at leisure. After the excitement of last night’s dining experience, you will appreciate a leisurely stroll around the 158-year-old Botanic Gardens with lunch at the Corner House on an optional morning tour. These are the most visited Botanic Gardens in the world, showcasing over 10,000 types of plants including Singapore’s largest collection of living orchids – there are around 60,000 orchid plants! You will end the tour with lunch at The Corner House; a romantic restaurant set within the grounds of the gardens and shaded by leafy palms.

This afternoon we would suggest perhaps visiting Changi beach to soak up the sun or wandering around the humbling Kranji war memorial. If you would like to take things easy there are plenty of places to wine and dine and if you’re after some souvenirs from your honeymoon there’s no shortage of shops!

In the late afternoon we can arrange an optional river champagne cruise to watch the sun setting over the water from Singapore’s only tall ship; The Royal Albatross. Singapore’s calm port waters make for a tranquil and romantic experience aboard the open decks of this amazing 4-mast, 22-sail luxury Tall Ship. Sail over sparkling waters and be treated to a sumptuous and indulgent 3-course dinner.

All good things must come to an end and it’s time to head onwards on your journey. Wherever you’re off to next though, be it one of Asia’s magnificent beaches or another of its delightful cultural cities, Singapore will always remain special as the first place you visited as a married couple.
