Day 1
AIRPORT - COLOMBO

Colombo is the trade capital of Sri Lanka and is a city that has undergone rapid changes.
While most old buildings have been replaced by new apartments and office buildings, some parts of the city yet retain its old charm. The 100-year-old clock tower built by the British and some colonial buildings remain examples. Independence Square, Nelum Pokuna, Pettah Bazaar, and BMICH are some of the main highlights of the city.
Colombo also provides ample entertainment in terms of active nightlife as well as a shopping experience you'd never forget.

COLOMBO - PINNAWALA  - KANDY

Transfer from Colombo to Pinnawala (Approx 100 km)
The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage provides visitors with the best chance of seeing a large number of elephants at close quarters. The orphanage was established in 1975 and commenced with seven orphaned elephants. Today some of these orphans enjoy the fortune of seeing their calfs born in the same location. Assisted by local and foreign elephant experts, Pinnawala commenced a successful captive breeding program and the first baby elephant was born in 1984. It is most interesting to visit at feeding time to see the baby elephants being bottle-fed and the entire herd has taken for a bath thereafter to the river nearby.

Day 3
KANDY - PERADENIYA  - KANDY

Transfer from Kandy to Peradeniya (5 Kms)
The Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya covers approximately 147 acres and attracts over 2 million visitors annually. It is home to over 4,000 species of plants including some of the most beautiful orchids you'll ever see. The origins of these magnificent gardens date back to the time of King Wickramabahu on the 3rd in 1371. Besides the plethora of plants, the famous Avenue of Palms and the Cannonball Tree planted by King George the 5th of the United Kingdom are key highlights.
Transfer from Peradeniya to Kandy
The World Heritage Site, Kandy, was the last capital of the Sri Lankan Kings before the country was brought under British rule in 1815. Famous for its rich heritage and splendor, this magnificent city was last ruled by Sri Wickramarajasinghe. The Temple of the Tooth Relic is the most significant highlight of the city along with the Kandy lake, the town, and other attractions. Visit the Kandy town and Bazaar, the arts & crafts center and a gem museum and a lapidary. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and thereafter, witness a cultural show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dance.

Day 4
KANDY - TEA PLANTATION  - NUWARA ELIYA

Transfer from Kandy to Tea Plantation (100 Kms)
Visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is produced. Upon your visit, you will observe how the quality of tea is graded and also have a walk-through of the manufacturing process. The highlight of your visit will be enjoying the taste of a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory.
Transfer from Tea Plantation to Nuwara Eliya.

Day 5
NUWARA ELIYA - HAKGALA - - NUWARA ELIYA

Transfer from Nuwara Eliya to Hakgala
Located within close proximity to Nuwara Eliya town is the famous Hakgala Botanical Gardens, where you will find an unbelievable selection of plants and flowers that are guaranteed to please your senses. Legend has it that these were once the pleasure gardens of Ravana, of the epic Ramayana. The British period saw the expansion of these gardens, and they now boast a wonderful variety of orchids among other floral classics.  Transfer from Hakgala to Nuwara Eliya.

Day 6
NUWARA ELIYA - KITULGALA  - BENTOTA

Transfer from Nuwara Eliya to Kitulgala (Approx 100 km)
The Kelani River provides adventure seekers a treat with shooting rapids that facilitate white water rafting. The river's clear water is born in the heart of the peak wilderness reserve and tumbles through a rocky gorge just above Kithulgala.  As you progress on the thrilling journey, you will pass the scenic location of the river where the movie The Bridge on the River Kwai was filmed. Transfer from Kitulgala to Bentota (Approx 165 km)

Day 7
BENTOTA - GALLE

Check Out & transfer to Galle for sightseeing.
Transfer from Bentota to Galle (60 Kms)
Galle is located in the south-western part of Sri Lanka and is an important city in the region. The city remains the best example of a fortified city built by the Portuguese during their period in the country. The Galle Fort, today, is a world heritage site and the most important landmark in the city.  The Dutch Museum and the Dutch Church are two other significant attractions. Galle has also made a name for itself for its intricate lace and ebony carvings.
