ITINERARY

1-3
Yangon
City
You’re married! And as if that wasn’t exciting enough, it’s now time for your honeymoon (or simply an exceptionally romantic holiday). You’ll be landing in Myanmar’s capital city of Yangon, where your private 'elephant coach' will be waiting to take you in style to your stunning hotel. This restored Chevrolet bus was once used to transport dignitaries during the war but has since been reincarnated as a luxurious coach offering an elegant VIP experience! Enjoy champagne on arrival and a romantic meal together celebrate your recent union!

You’ll have plenty of time to enjoy each other’s company, as well as take in some of Yangon’s highlights. Visit Sule Pagoda, Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda – home to a 70 meter long reclining Buddha - and the gold-leaf gilded Shwedagon Pagoda that dominates the skyline.

On your final evening, you will get to cozy up together on a trishaw foodie tour. You’ll head to a 21st-floor cocktail bar for a drink under the setting sun and admire the glittering Shwedagon Pagoda from up high, then explore the aromas of local food vendors and enjoy your final night’s dinner at the Pansuriya Restaurant; taking time to browse the antique market next door while your dinner is being cooked.

4-5
Bagan
Tour
It’s time to fly to beautiful Bagan, where you'll soak up the serenity at the main temples, then board a private riverboat cruise on the Irrawaddy. Journeying up the river you'll pass fishermen and local villages, before disembarking near the 13th-century temple of Kyauk Gu U Min. Examine the intricate stone carvings on the door then wander inside and admire the stone sculptures and floral designs, before returning to enjoy the sunset over the river.

The following morning you'll be completely spoiled with a sunrise hot air balloon ride over Bagan's temple plains, followed by a glass of sparkling wine. Take in the peace and tranquility of an early morning up in the sky as you rise slowly above the tree line and see temples and pagodas come into view, illuminated by the sun’s rays. After this incredible start to your day, you're free to relax for the rest of the morning, before heading to the colorful Nyaung Oo Market for a browse. You'll stop for an outdoor lunch at Sano, a vocational training restaurant serving delicious Burmese and Western dishes.

6-7
Inle Lake
Wildlife + Tour
After an early flight to Inle Lake, you will meet the elephants at the Green Hill Elephant Camp. Get to know these majestic animals by name and bond during their dinnertime, where you will be hand feeding them sugarcane and bananas. Then get dressed in traditional Shan garments and walk to a natural pool to share a bath with them – on this occasion, we’re sure your partner won’t mind! At the reforestation area, you will mark your memorable experience by planting a tree, then it’s time to say your goodbyes to the elephants as you make your way to Inle Lake for the night.

Day 7 welcomes you with a private longtail boat tour of the beautiful lake, where you'll float past local villages with stilted houses, floating gardens and visit the famous morning market. You’ll visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the lake’s main sanctuary, and climb the stairs to the top, then take a short walk to the elaborately decorated Royal Barges used during the pagoda's annual festival. Stop at a traditional weaving workshop then enjoy a lunch of typical Inthar dishes before continuing down the lake towards the village of Indien where you can see picturesque stupas and enjoy magnificent views of the lake.
