Way of the Waterfalls
Hurrah - the day has come at last! You’ll fly into Bangkok where your guide will meet you and take you to your hotel. Once you’re settled in you’ll spend your time exploring the city starting with the Grand Palace; the former royal residence is one of the city’s most popular attractions. Make sure you check out the 2000-year-old Emerald Buddha, it’s quite a stunning sight. You’ll also cruise Bangkok’s canals and see why this city is known as the ‘Venice of the East’.

Say farewell to the city and make your way to Kanchanaburi via a stop at the astounding Railway Track Market, where stallholders quickly pack their wares away as a local commuter train passes right through the middle of the market. Once you’ve snapped a photo at the famous Bridge over the River Kwai you’ll be taken by longtail boat to your luxury floating accommodation. After a hearty breakfast, you’ll visit the Hell Fire Pass Museum and trek through the nearby canyon whilst learning about the conditions endured by the soldiers working on the railway during the First World War. Carry on to see a spectacular seven-tiered waterfall - don’t forget to pack your swimsuit! Then it’s all about the gentle giants – you’re off to Elephants World! Set in a jungle landscape on the outskirts of Kanchanaburi, you’ll learn about the lives and plights of Thai elephants and learn how this sanctuary helps rehabilitate them. Meet the elephants and watch them go about their daily lives, foraging for food in the jungle and cooling off in the Kwai Yai River.

Chiang Mai
You’ll fly into Chiang Mai where a guide will meet you and take you to your treetop accommodation for the night where you’ll wake up to the sound of bird song and feel a gentle breeze in the treetops. Spend your time as you please; why not borrow a bike and explore local villages, visit nearby waterfalls or have a wander through the jungle?

Doi Angkhang
General Tour
Your next stop is Doi Angkhang, a former hill station set high in the mountains, stopping on the way to visit a mountainside temple and the Royal Project. Spearheaded by the Thai Royal Family, the project provides agricultural support to local hill tribes. Visit the beautiful botanical gardens and take some time to explore this incredible project.

Chiang Mai

That evening you’ll visit the night market which features a labyrinth of stalls selling everything from colorful silk to beaded jewelry. Let’s hope you wake up hungry – today you’ll be learning the secret to authentic Thai food at the Pantawan Cooking School! After a morning of fun for your taste buds alongside a class of like-minded foodies, you’ll tour the city’s old town with a local guide. Explore historic landmarks, wander around museums and receive a traditional Thai foot massage.
