Bay to the Beach
ITINERARY
1-4
Hanoi
City
You’ll wake up to that childlike Christmas day excitement – the day is here at last! Flying into Hanoi you’ll be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Once you’ve settled in, it’s time to see the sights. You’ll visit the historic Temple of Literature, the One Pillar Pagoda, mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh and West Lake. Your Hanoi adventure continues with a lunch with a local family who has fascinating stories from the Vietnam-America wartime. You’ll finish off your adventure by a tour through the Old Quarter by buggy.

5-6
Halong Bay
Cruise
Say goodbye to the buzz of the city and hello to the beauty of Halong Bay. Known for its emerald waters and towering limestone islands, you’re in for a treat on this cruise. Check out the boat’s itinerary for excursions or activities, otherwise, just chill out on the sundeck and take it all in. In the morning you can take a Tai Chi class if you feel like it and later on explore the surrounding villages and national park on a bike. Finish off the day with some kayaking and swimming followed by a BBQ buffet dinner.

7-8
Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City)
City
After another idyllic morning of Tai Chi, you’ll head back to the port where you’ll make your way to Saigon. This city is a melting pot of culture, history and great street food and you can spend your time here exploring at your own pace or sign up for one of our optional excursions such as a night at the Opera House.

9-11
Mui Ne
Beach
After the hustle and bustle of city life, you’ve definitely earned a few days recouping on Mui Ne's beach. And what a beach! A 12-kilometer sweeping bay boasting fantastic water sport options, Mui Ne is famed for its vast – and extremely photogenic – red sand dunes (doi hong), whipped up by the high winds rushing to and from the ocean. Further along, the coast is the even more impressive white dunes (di cat trang), which can be explored by jeep. Visit at sunrise for that picture postcard shot.

12-13
Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City)
City
You’ll head back into the city of Saigon for one more night. It’s up to you how you spend it – perhaps sampling street food at the local market, catching a show at the Opera House or simply wandering the streets and soaking up the electric atmosphere of this great city.

On Day 13 you’ll head home chilled out with plenty of wonderful Vietnamese memories.
