ITINERARY
1-3
Hanoi
City
The day has come at last! Your guide will meet you when you touch down in Hanoi and you’ll be taken to your hotel. Spend your first-day sightseeing and then leave the hustle and bustle and take to the countryside by bicycle. You’ll pedal through quaint villages and along the river banks, stopping to take tea with a local family to learn about Vietnamese life. In the afternoon you’ll enjoy a visit to the Temple of Literature – Vietnam’s first university – before walking through Hanoi’s Old Quarter where you can chat with locals and bag a bargain at the market.

4-6
Sapa
Activity and Adventure
Next up you’re heading for Sapa where you’ll enjoy a seven-hour trek through remote villages and rice fields. After lunch, you’ll continue on to My Son, which is home to one of the smallest minorities in Vietnam, the Xa Pho. Enjoy a lie-in and a late check out before hopping aboard the overnight train to Hanoi.

7-8
Mai Chau
Activity and Adventure
After a quick refresh and breakfast, you’ll leave Hanoi for Mai Chau, a stunning valley surrounding by karst rock formations and paddies. In the evening you’ll relax and enjoy a traditional Thai performance of music and dance. The following day you’ll explore some of the surrounding villages in the valley by bicycle.

9-10
Ninh Binh
Activity and Adventure
It’s time to head to the rural countryside of Ninh Binh. Here you’ll enjoy exploring ancient temples, cycling through local villages and eating home-cooked fare. You’ll also board a traditional sampan boat and float among the paddy fields towards the Galaxy Cave gate. Hop out and be amazed at the stunning natural sparkling stalactites.

11-13
Halong Bay
Cruise
It’s time to cruise around Halong Bay! Check the boat’s itinerary for activities or simply enjoy taking in the stunning scenery while you relax onboard. The next day you’ll explore some of the bays most untouched areas. Enjoy swimming on idyllic beaches, exploring water tunnels and wandering around fishing villages. On the last day, you’ll meander back towards Hanoi, where you’ll spend the night.

14-16
Phu Quoc
Beach
If all this exploring has left you satisfied but a tad weary – fear not! Today you’re off to the island of Phu Quoc where you can relax on white-sand beaches and tropical waters. You’ll have several days to recharge your batteries, but if you struggle to sit still you’ll find hiking trails and wildlife aplenty on the island.

17-18
Can Tho
General Tour
It’s time to leave island life behind and fly into the city of Can Tho where you’ll explore the colorful floating market and bustling waterways. You’ll head onward to the picturesque province of Ben Tre where you’ll take a local boat, visit a coconut processing workshop, stop by a fruit orchard and take a village cycling trip. You’ll then head into Saigon where you’ll stay overnight.

Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City)
City
You'll stay overnight in Saigon before flying home well-traveled, with memories of the natural beauty of Vietnam.
