1-3
Hanoi
City
Your honeymoon has officially begun! Once you arrive at your hotel in Hanoi, crack open a bottle of champagne to celebrate (it's on us!). What a start to married life! You’ll spend the rest of your time in Hanoi discovering all the main attractions such as the Temple of Literature; constructed in 1076 you’ll hear stories of its history including when it served as a university and temple. You’ll also shop at a market, explore a nearby lake and finish up with a treat for your taste buds at Press Club, something of a local institute serving up ridiculously good French food.

4-5
Ninh Binh
General Tour
You’ll bid farewell to the capital and make your way to Ninh Binh where you’ll spend your time exploring the local heritage and natural sights. You’ll visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu where you’ll see stunning temples and climb one of the surrounding limestone karst hills for spectacular views. Next, you’ll head to Thung Nham where you’ll explore the valley and caves from a traditional sampan boat. Rest up as next you’ll be taking a private cycling tour through rural villages and rice paddies. More energy to burn? Climb the ancient tiered Bich Dong Pagoda.

6-7
Halong Bay
Cruise
Now it’s time to board the Violet Junk Boat to make your way towards Halong Bay. Check out the boat’s itinerary for available visits and activities or just kick back, relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. There’ll be plenty of opportunities to swim on quiet beaches, visiting water tunnels and explore nearby fishing villages. Back on board you’ll enjoy dinner and a bottle of wine while watching the sunset over Halong Bay. It doesn’t get much more romantic than this.

8-11
Danang
Beach
It’s beach time! Today you’ll disembark from your junk boat and board a seaplane for an unforgettable flight over Halong Bay. You’ll then fly to Danang where you’ll be transferred to your luxury spa hotel. We have a special treat for you here, we've planned a private dinner on the beach, just for you and your partner. 

At the Fusion Maia, relaxing is the name of the game and you don’t have to do much of anything except chill.  If you get itchy feet, it’s worth peeling yourself off the beach for a half-day trip to My Son, the site of one of Vietnam’s most extensive Cham remains set in a lush jungle valley flanked by mountains. The journey there is an experience in itself; you’ll travel through farms, villages and rural Vietnamese countryside in a renovated America war-era Jeep. If you want to pick up the pace back at Danang you can sign up for a cooking class or bicycle tour.

12-14
Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City)
City
Bid farewell to the beach and head to Saigon, Vietnam’s largest city. On your transfer, you’ll swing by the historic Cu Chi tunnels for a few hours with a local guide who will explain how invaluable this underground network was during wartimes. Once you arrive at your hotel it’s time to don your glad rags ready for an evening of culture at the Saigon Opera House, complete with VIP seats. The next day you’ll hop aboard a Vespa and see Saigon like a local. You’ll explore the French colonial history, visit a Buddhist monk monument and a flower market before making your way to Chinatown to learn about herbal medicine. This evening you’ll enjoy a night of fine dining in a skyscraper.

On Day 14 you’ll head home reminiscing together about your fun-filled honeymoon in Vietnam.
