ITINERARY

1-4
Perth
City
Ready to see Australia in style? First up you're off to Perth, the most isolated capital city in the world. Here you can get a feel for the famous Australian bush with a trip to Kings Parks, one of the biggest city parks in the world and much larger than Central Park. Enjoy an epic view of the city skyline while you tackle bushland trails, walk the treetop bridge and grab a bite to eat in the cafe. You might like to explore some of Perth's urban villages during your stay too. Head to Leederville for cafe culture, Mount Lawley for trendy gastronomy and Subiaco for designer clothing boutiques. And when it comes to culture? You can't beat the Perth Cultural Centre and The Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts.

The next day it's time for your first dip in the Indian Ocean at Cottlesloe Beach, where you might also like to try your hand at snorkeling or surfing. Afterward, visit Yagan Square to get a feel for the buzz of the city or learn more about Aboriginal culture with a trip to The Art Gallery of Western Australia. Those after a more personalized experience can request a private tour.

5-6
Margaret River
General Tour
Today you're off to Margaret River in your premium 4WD. You'll spend two nights at the Cape Lodge, in the heart of the wine country. This small wine region is known for its craft breweries, boutiques, and excellent wineries. While it's small in comparison to the likes of Barossa Valley, Hunter Valley, and Yarra Valley, it produces 20% of Australia's premium wines. And thanks to multiple micro-climates in the area, there are over 95 wineries with plenty of unique wines to try.

The next day, head out in a small group to tour some of the best wineries Margaret River has to offer. You'll sample wine and tuck into delicious food and local produce as you go. And don't worry about driving - you'll be chauffeured! If you prefer, a completely private experience can be organized.

7
Fremantle
General Tour
Drive back up the coast to Fremantle and drop off the car. Just a stone’s throw from Perth's metropolitan area, Fremantle serves as the harbor and its maritime history can be spotted all over town. Take a sunset cruise up the Swan River to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy your last night in Western Australia; staying at the Esplanade Hotel.

8-9
Indian Pacific Train
Activity & Adventure
All aboard! Today you'll hop on the Indian Pacific train, which leaves Perth at 10 am. After lunch takes some time to relax and enjoy the sights along the way. In the evening stop off at the gold mining town of Kalgoorlie; in the middle of the outback, this unusual town almost looks like a film set. The next morning you'll awake to the sights of the majestic and raw Nullarbor Plain, the longest straight stretch of railway in the world. And if you've ever wondered what Nullabor means, it's derived from Latin and loosely translates to 'no trees' - which will become pretty apparent as you journey down it! In the afternoon enjoy a cooking experience.

10-11
Adelaide
City
Wake up in Adelaide, where you'll go for the morning excursion as organized by the Indian Pacific. After this, your Australian rail adventure has come to an end and your time in Adelaide today is yours to spend as you please. After you check in to the Mayfair Hotel, you might like to shop at the central market, relax in the botanic garden or explore the local beaches. There are also plenty of excellent museums to peruse and if you're lucky you might even time it right and catch a local festival. The next day enjoys a small-group day tour to Kangaroo Island. Spend your time looking for wildlife like kangaroos, koalas, wallabies and sea lions, and explore the gorgeous Flinders Chase National Park.

12-15
Sydney
City
Today you're off to Sydney, home to some of the country's finest beaches. Once you arrive, check into the Old Clare Hotel, then head down to Darling Harbour to explore its vibrant atmosphere and take a cruise. The next day you'll head to the iconic Sydney Opera House to eat breakfast and take an exclusive backstage tour. After the tour, take in the stunning coastal vistas of Sydney with a walk from Coogee to Bondi Beach. You might like to take the ferry up to Manly to relax the laid-back bohemian atmosphere of this part of the city, or alternatively take a surfing lesson at the world-famous Bondi Beach.

The next day takes a private guided tour to the stunning Blue Mountains and explore its ancient rainforests, waterfalls, clifftop lookouts, valleys and Aboriginal heritage. Later, swing by one of the villages and shop for authentic souvenirs in the galleries. Let your guide know your interests and this tour can be tailored to you. Back in Sydney, enjoy your last night in Australia before heading back home.
