Your base in Rotorua will be the lakeside resort of Ramada Rotorua Marama; where you'll have a two-bedroom apartment set in luscious parkland, an outdoor pool, and a hot tub to relax in.

The next day you’ll head out to the Agrodome and meet some traditional kiwi farmers and their livestock. At the farm, you can see live sheep shearing and even have a chance to feed lambs, calves, emu, alpaca, and pigs. afterward up the adventure factor with a fun zorbing session - each of you will get inside a large inflatable ball and roll down grassy tracks! Got energy to burn? Board the Skyline Gondola for panoramic views of Lake Rotorua. At the top you might like to indulge in an activity or two; choose from the luge ride, Skyswing, and Skyvue 4D Motion theatre. Adults might prefer the Cableway Restaurant and Bar, for a spot of wine tasting.

Speaking of which, head out just before sunset for the best chance to spot some famous New Zealand wildlife.

8-9
Wellington

Today it’s time to make your way towards Wellington. Though it can take up to four hours, the route is scattered with towns perfect for stopping off for a spot of lunch and a flavor of small-town New Zealand life.
