After touching down in Rio de Janeiro, you'll be transferred to the Sofitel Ipanema, where you'll spend your first three nights of the trip. Settle yourself in and get a good night's rest for the day ahead, which includes a half-day visit to Corcovado Mountain to see the famous Christ the Redeemer statue. Thanks to modern lifts and escalators, this South American cultural icon (named as one of the 'New 7 Wonders of the World') offers spectacular views of the surrounding areas - on clear days, you really can see for miles so make sure to bring your camera! Afterward, why not relax, refuel and take in the sights at Xian restaurant before heading back to the hotel ready for another day.

On day 3, you'll take in even more spectacular sights on a cable car ride along Sugarloaf Mountain. For an extra dose of magic, opt-in for the champagne toast and helicopter flight, which takes you up, close and personal with the mountain as well as Praia Vermelha (Red Beach), Copacabana crescent as far as Ipanema and back again. The helicopter excursion concludes with a champagne toast in celebration of the incredible sights you'll have just witnessed.

Iguaçu Falls

The next day, a two-hour flight will whisk you across to Iguaçu, where you'll enjoy a two-night stay in a junior suite at the exclusive Loi Suites. After checking in, a half-day excursion to the Brazilian Falls awaits, where a walking tour will take you down the Iguaçu river canyon to explore the Brazilian side of the mesmerizing Iguaçu Falls. Via lookouts and glass elevators, you'll experience this breathtaking spectacle that's shaped like a horseshoe and surrounded by National Park. Heighten the experience by opting in for the Full Moon Experience (subject to availability), a nocturnal tour where you can spot local wildlife and witness the lunar rainbow - now that's romantic!

On day 5, you'll experience Iguaçu Falls from a whole new point of view with a whistle-stop hop across to Argentina. After a quick customs check, you'll cross the Tancredo Neves bridge over the Iguaçu river up to Argentine Iguaçu Park. From here, a small train will take you close to the famous Devil's Throat, where you'll walk the last 1200 meters on a gangway and look deep into the throat, where the epic border between Brazil and Argentina runs. A riverboat ride concludes the excursion, taking you 6 kilometers down the river to the heart of the throat and falls, stopping just in front of San Martin Island, where a ruck and bus will take you back to the station.

Returning to the hotel, you'll pass the landmark of the three borders - Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay - before a visit to Itaipu Dam, a hydroelectric dam on the Paraná River that's considered an engineering feat.

The next leg of the trip sees a flight and car transfer across to Catuçaba. Here, you'll spend three nights at Fazenda Catuçaba, a 450-acre coffee farm set across a traditional 1850's main house and five villas in a Brazilian coastal mountain range. Spend these days at your leisure, exploring the stunning property, unwinding and letting the action from the previous few days sink in. Or, if you're not quite ready to put your feet up, opt to explore the farm via horseback or choose a zip-lining excursion that descends 300 meters in the middle of a waterfall in a nearby jungle.

On day 9, you'll be transferred to the final destination of your trip, Picinguaba - a tropical and tranquil bay in the heart of the Atlantic Forest Natural Park. Here you'll reside for four nights at the Pousada Picinguaba, a stunning and scenic hotel that faces the sea and a protected sandy beach. Upgrade your stay with an optional excursion including a choice of kayaking trips around Picinguaba bay or a beautiful sunset boat ride with wine included.

On the final evening of your stay, you'll get to toast your trip with the most personal and romantic experience: a private dinner on the beach. The next day, you'll be transferred back to Rio de Janeiro for your flight back home, feeling refreshed, revived and enlightened after a soul-changing honeymoon.
