ITINERARY
DAY 1
Delhi – Jaipur (270 km/5 hrs)
As you drive on NH8 at the break of dawn, you reach Jaipur in time to check in and have lunch at the hotel. Begin your sojourn with a local expert who takes you through the bazaars, City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar. Evening will be spent in the company of ethnic folk dancers and musicians.

DAY 2
Jaipur
Rise early to catch an Elephant Ride to the Amer Fort with plenty of time to explore this grand monument that formed the residence of the Rajput Maharajas. Take a break for lunch and then visit the Magnificent Jaigarh/Victory fort built for the protection of the city of Amber and its palace complex. After finishing the day’s explorations retreat to the hotel to recuperate. Evening is chalked with a visit to the famous Chowki Dhani to catch a glimpse of the vibrant Rajasthan culture.

DAY 3
Jaipur – Bikaner (340 km/6 hrs)
Rise with the sun and get going for a drive as all the vibrant colors of Rajasthan come alive enroute. You are staying at the Gajner Palace which is a jewel in the Thar desert built by the Maharaja on the edge of the lake. Loose yourself at the sprawling 6000 acres former hunting grounds of the British Raj as you explore a world of nature walks, boat rides, sanctuary dinners and desert safaris. Check in by lunch, take a small city tour and visit the bustling local bazaars aided by the local guide.
Dinner will be at the resort.

DAY 4
Bikaner
Today you visit and explore the Junagarh Fort and its temples and museums to get an insight of the grandiose lifestyle of the past Maharajas of Rajasthan. Post lunch we take a camel safari into the Thar Desert and dinner will be a Royal affair at the Gajner Palace.

DAY 5
Bikaner – Jaiselmer (330 km/5 hrs)
Start driving through the desert landscapes set against the colorful costumes of the locals and arrive at Jaiselmer by Lunchtime for check in at the hotel. Known as the Golden City of India because of the yellow sandstone used in the city’s architecture and yellow sand giving it a goldenish glow. Post lunch take a city tour with a local guide. Dinner at the Hotel.

DAY 6
Jaisalmer
Morning time is for Fort Visit and today we visit the Jaiselmer Fort, unique as it is home to an approx. 3000 people residing within its walls. Post Lunch we can take a safari in the sand dunes by jeep or camel.
Dinner will be at the hotel.

DAY 7
Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (290 km/5hrs)
Drive to the Blue city of Jodhpur, named so after the vivid blue painted houses around the Mehrangarh Fort. Check in at the hotel and post lunch the local guide takes you for a city tour and refreshes those historical memoirs. Dinner will be at the hotel.

DAY 8
Jodhpur
Today we visit the Mighty Mehrangarh Fort, the muscular fort that towers over the blue city and is an architectural spectacle of the marvelous Rajput era. Go zip lining at the Jodhpur flying fox or visit the old city markets if you plan on souvenir shopping for friends back home. Dinner will be at the hotel.

DAY 9
Jodhpur – Udaipur (320 km/5 hrs)
Add Romance to adventure as you drive towards the most romantic destinations of India lovingly named “ Venice of the East” and “ The city of Lakes”. Check in by lunchtime at your hotel and embark on the city tour with the local guide to see the City Palace, The Largest Palace of Rajasthan, Jagdish temple and countless crooked streets leading to exotic bazaars.

DAY 10
Udaipur
Start your day with a visit to the Crystal Gallery, which boasts of an amazing collection of treasures ordered by the Maharaja from England but forgotten for 110 years before it was rediscovered. This is followed by a visit to the magnificent Durbar Hall for the impressive Chandeliers and artefacts at display. Evening at the hotel.

DAY 11
Udaipur
Today you may visit the gracious 18th-century Bagore ki haveli, set on the water’s edge and featuring a fascinating collection of period photos of Udaipur and a surreal collection of world famous monuments carved out of polystyrene. In the evening take a boat cruise along Lake Pichola and enjoy a sublime view of stately mansions and palaces along the way.

DAY 12
Udaipur – Pushkar(290 km/5hrs)
Drive to the city of Pushkar that curls around a holy lake, and pay homage at the only Brahma temple in the world. Take a dip in the famed waters of the Pushkar Lake, which is said to wash away the sins of a lifetime. Stay Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 13
Pushkar – Delhi (400 km/8 hrs)
Your Rendezvous with Rajasthan comes to an end as you start driving back to Delhi and say “ Khamaghani “ or Greetings one last time.
